(Sogang Semester Abroad Program)
1. What is SSAP?
SSAP is Sogang’s integrated program that combines both exchange and visiting student pathways.
It combines academic study with cultural immersion and real-life experiences in Seoul.
Students can join as exchange or visiting students, depending on their home university’s partnership with Sogang University.

3. Eligibility & Prerequisites

| Must be officially nominated by their home university institution via Sogang Inbound Application system |
Must be an official enrolled student in higher education institution |
| Must complete at least one semester by the time of nomination |

| Any student who meets the internal study abroad requirements of their home universities (GPA, Language proficiency. etc) |

4. Required Documents
- Passport (valid)
- ID Photo
- Official Transcript
- Financial Affidavit
- High school graduation certificate (visiting students)
5. VISA
All foreign exchange students need to obtain D-2-6 visa (for exchange students) or D-2-8 (for visiting students) for their studies at Sogang University. D-2-6/D-2-8 visa is a single-entry visa and it will be valid only for 90 days after student’s arrival in Korea.
Once your application has been reviewed and approved by the Office of International Affairs at Sogang University, you will receive a Certificate of Admission.
This document must be presented during your visa interview at the nearest Korean consulate.
